CMS MES Community of Practice (CoP)

Welcome

The Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) landscape regularly fluctuates with emerging technologies, federal statutes and regulations, and state policies. The MES team supports State Medicaid Agencies (SMA) in their challenging mission: implement system changes that meet federal deadlines and procure systems with a high return on investment, while maximizing state and enhanced federal funds use.

The CMS MES CoP is a meaningful space that brings together states, vendors, and CMS personnel and supports them in their shared work and mission.

What the MES CoP offers

Targeted and comprehensive technical assistance with: Advance Planning Documents (APDs), contracts, MES procurements, emerging and urgent MES topics, common state challenges and opportunities.
Reduce knowledge gaps and deepen understanding within the space.
Improve transparency and standardization of MES topics.
Broaden relationships between states and the MES team.
